We initially met Stuart while he built a house for our neighbours. We had been thinking about extending our house for some time, and as Stuart was friendly and easy to get along with, we discussed our plans with him. The house next door was built on time and as the direct neighbours, we were impressed with how tidy the site was, how considerate Stuart and all his tradespeople were and we really liked the home that he built. Stuart and Chrissie are easy and pleasant to deal with and take such care to ensure the client is happy. A beachy coastal vibe.
We initially met Stuart through our neighbour who had just completed his renovation and was very happy with the result, and spoke very highly about Cambridge Renovations. It wasn’t until a year later, that we were ready to start with a complete flip on our 3 bedroom townhouse. What impressed us most about Stuart and Chrissie, is their passion for what they do, their knowledge, and the professional tradesmen that they use. Stuart is fastidious in what he does, the worksite was always left neat and tidy at the end of the day, and despite the many variations that we threw at Stuart along the way, he was accommodating, and did his very best to get the best outcome for us. We are absolutely thrilled with the end result, and having had an experience of doing a renovation with one of the big building companies in the past, the experience of dealing with Stuart this time, was far different from that. Space for a growing family.
Stuart renovated my Wembley home. He extended the ground floor and added a second story. I initially chose Stuart as his enthusiasm and care for the project was so clear in contrast to the big building companies that I met. This is the third renovation I have completed and I would never build or renovate with anyone but Stuart again. Stuart gave a fixed quote and did not deviate from this amount. He is incredibly honest. His communication was impeccable. He gave daily updates and was always ready to address any questions. Stuart advised a time line and he stuck to the plan 100% and completed on the exact date he initially advised. The attention to detail was phenomenal and he and his team were a pleasure to have around the house. My friends and family can’t believe how smooth the process was. He even managed to keep us living comfortably at home during the renovation! MAN CAVE VS GRANNY FLAT.
Cambridge renovations built us a new heritage look garage/granny flat in Wembley. We are very happy with the finished product and would highly recommend Stuart to anyone thinking of renovating or building. Stuart worked hard to come up with a design we were happy with and to fit in with our old federation style house. Stuart’s tradies are all excellent - clean, tidy and very respectful and on days when Stuart wasn’t on the tools he visited regularly to check in on their progress and touch base with us. He provided good advice to us, involved us in decisions and was transparent around any cost implications for changes along the way to ensure we were completely happy.

OLD MEETS NEW.
We recently undertook our first big renovation with Cambridge Renovations (demolished sleep out and new living room/kitchen/scullery/laundry). They guided us through the whole process from planning applications to kitchen/laundry selections with ease. We were able to live in our house during the entire renovation process with minimal disturbance to us and we were always on hand to discuss changes/options, as Stuart is very flexible. A BOUTIQUE BUILD.
We would highly recommend Stuart for anyone who wants a high quality boutique builder. Nothing was too much trouble. With his wife Chrissie they both went above and beyond in making sure our vision was achieved, evening saving us from making a few poor design choices! The whole process was quick, efficient and the site kept spotless. We weren’t prepared for how quick the house went up and I don’t think a day went by without someone working on site. There is no way we would have got that level of service or craftsmanship with a larger building company.
