SALVADO ROAD

Old meets new.

Tasteful and charming are the perfect words to describe this beautiful extension project we completed in Floreat, with the contrast between new and old really standing out.

With the need for more space, the project required a new open plan living, dining and kitchen area - complete with a secret scullery/laundry.

Keeping with the home's original features, we decided to retain part of the original Jarrah ceiling beam to create a feature Jarrah step in the alfresco area. In the extension, reclaimed Jarrah floors were laid with corner stacker doors and multiple Velux windows installed to maximise light into the home and seamlessly connect the inside space to the outside alfresco area.

The exterior was finished in pale-toned weatherboard cladding to help keep this home cooler in the summer months, which contrasts beautifully with rich timber tones.
